Lodging
The Italian Red Cross will be setting up a "lifecamp" as they call it. It's the CRI village that consists of big tents with about 40 beds in each tent. You can purchase bed and breakfast each night you require lodging once registration opens usually in May. Check back regularly for the 2024 online registration form.
It will only be possible to access your lodging accommodation in the lifecamp via your barcode which you will find printed on your badge. The barcode will be scanned for your lodging as well as for each of your prepaid meals.
You can also try booking nearby hotels, Airbnbs or agriturismos! Be aware that some venues require a deposit.

The Italian "Red Cross Camp" will be available to all Red Cross and Red Crescent volunteers who wish to attend the festivities in Solferino. Even if you choose NOT to lodge in the Red Cross camp, you can still gain access to the camp and mingle/eat with your fellow volunteers from around the world as long as you have your Solferino registration badge.
The camp will host up to 1,500 guests, and will have within its facilities a cafeteria service, bar, recreational area, several information points, as well as a dedicated space to purchase gadgets and clothing with the Italian Red Cross brand. Each evening there is usually entertainment. Please keep in mind you need to bring your own sheets when booking a bed and as the event date draws near you may be able to indicate where you want the location of your bed to be. A Meal Service with international cuisine will be available in the Camp. The 2024 meals and lodging fees have yet to be announced but will most likely be similar to last year's fees (see below): Lunch 8€ Dinner 8€ Breakfast - from 7:00 to 9:00 Lunch - from 12:00 to 15:00 **Breakfast is only available to those who have purchased lodging for 12€ a night. Individual Meals and beds can be booked by registering directly online once the online registration opens up.
